Once you’ve identified your market, chosen your product, created your landing page, the rest of your time should be spent getting people to visit your landing page to either buy your product right away, or to join your mailing list for more information about the current product and others you’ll be recommending later. 

 

Generating visitors to your landing page is commonly called ‘driving traffic’.

 

This is the part of internet marketing that new internet marketers worry about most, but it is in fact a very easy task, one that can attract literally thousands of visitors daily to your landing pages.   

 

Driving traffic to landing pages does not have to be hard work, or expensive, and there are many ways to get thousands of people daily to visit your sales page, subsequently to buy your product or visit your squeeze page and leave their contact details.

 

With a little experience you’ll  know how to invest the absolute minimum of time, money and effort into selling affiliate (or our own) products, while at the same time reaching the biggest possible market and achieving sales and commission figures most affiliates only ever dream about.

Include Compliments Slips in Outgoing Packages

 

Imagine I’m selling CDs on eBay.  No matter what the theme or subject for my CD or other physical product, I can create a compliments slip recommending products available at ClickBank or other affiliate portal.   The compliments slip leads potential buyers to my website or other landing page.

 

If I sell my product on eBay I might create a basic template for my compliments slip, including my email address, eBay Shop name, eBay About Me page address, alongside any non-eBay website locations where people can view my products or join my mailing list. 

 

Do Book and Product Reviews

 

Book and product reviews, for our purpose, are designed to ‘pre-sell’ or ‘qualify’ a product and, properly done, they can catapult sales of whatever you are promoting.  Additionally, your reviews can be formatted as articles and uploaded to article directories and your resource box used to take readers to your sales pages for products being reviewed.

 

Book and product reviews help generate sales because they create credibility for the product and the person reviewing the product.  That’s because, many prospective buyers, faced with just a sales page for products from someone they don’t know, are suspicious, they wonder if all the verbiage about the product is true, or just marketing hype.  Someone whose articles and reviews are interesting and easy to read can remove those doubts and tempt people to buy right away.

The dream of countless people, including myself, is one of creating wealth from just a few simple classified ads., costing very little, and reaching millions of people, while generating hundreds of orders and lots of lovely cash.  Online Google AdWords represents the most likely way to achieve that dream.  Additionally, using Google AdWords, your classified ad. appears in minutes, when and where you want it to be.  You can test your ad’s profitability and remove it quickly if it fails to work.

 

Google AdWords are those small boxed classified advertisements you see at top and right of the screen after you’ve typed in certain keywords to locate sites for your chosen topic. 

 

Using Google AdWords, anyone, even without writing or web design skills, can place tiny classified ads. which appear online whenever someone uses specific key words and phrases to locate sites Google’s search engine considers relevant to their search. 

 

Once you identify those words and phrases people use to find products like those you are promoting, Google will display your advertisement every time those words are used.   But you only pay when someone actually clicks on your link, not every time your AdWord features online.

 

Google AdWords allow your promotions to be closely targeted to the very people who might be interested in your product, unlike offline advertising in national publications where only a tiny proportion of readers may even notice your ad.

 

Getting your advertisement ranked high in Google AdWords is a bit like a traditional auction.  The higher the number of people wanting those keywords to bring their advert to prominence, the greater the competition will be for specific key words and phrases, and the higher the price for those keywords will be.

 

Given a first page listing is vital to advertisers’ selling chances, and considering less than a dozen Google AdWords appear per listing page, then AdWords places usually go to people bidding highest for specific key words and phrases.

 

I say ‘usually’ because other factors also influence if, when and where an ad. appears on the page, typically bid price, choice of countries for ad. to appear, daily advertising budget, CTR (click through rate), and other factors determined by Google.
